About Us

Established in 2018, Addiction Services And Pharmacotherapy (ASAP) is your trusted partner in the journey towards recovery from addiction for you or your loved one. At ASAP, we offer comprehensive, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) programs combining Methadone, Suboxone, and Vivitrol with personalized counseling. Our clinics are located in Madison, West Allis, and Kenosha, serving these cities and their surrounding communities.

Our Mission

It is the mission of Addiction Services and Pharmacotherapy to treat all patients safely, effectively, and professionally with the purpose of reducing harm from opioid and other drugs of addiction through state-of-the-art counseling and pharmacotherapy. All motivated individuals, meeting admission and ongoing treatment criteria, are welcome as patients of Addiction Services and Pharmacotherapy and will be treated with dignity, without discrimination, regardless of gender, age, race, religion, ethnicity, country of origin, color, marital status, veteran status, handicap or disability, HIV infection - whether asymptomatic or symptomatic, AIDS-related complex or AIDS, sexual preference, or sexual identity.

Leadership and Expertise

What sets ASAP apart is that we are physician owned and led. There are numerous advantages to this such as access to evidence based treatments, easy access to follow up care, and same day admission appointments.

Our team is led by renowned specialists in addiction medicine:

  • Dr. Vernon Partello, MD

    Board-certified in Addiction Medicine and Family Medicine with Obstetrics with over 20 years of medical experience. He has been treating inpatient and outpatient addiction throughout his career. He served as the inpatient medical attending and director for the Rock County Detox Center and Rock County Jail respectively. This exposure to addiction has given him a deep understanding of the various medication assisted treatment options that ASAP specializes in. He has been caring for patients with primary opiate addiction and co-addictions for years.

  • Dr. Christopher Harkin, MD

    Board-certified in Addiction Medicine, Anesthesiology, and Family Medicine with over 30 years of medical experience. For the past four years, he has been caring for patients with primary opioid addiction and other co-addictions as they arise. Specializing in opioid addiction and co-addictions, Dr. Harkin utilizes Methadone, Suboxone, and Vivitrol in treatment plans.
